When you need to respond to a customer, share a message with someone else, or start a new conversation, Orivio makes it easy. This article explains how to reply, forward, and compose emails in the Orivio dashboard.
Replying and Forwarding Emails
You’ll find the Reply, Reply all, and Forward buttons at the top of any open conversation.
- Reply: Responds only to the sender. This button is hidden if the sender is a no-reply address (like noreply@).
- Reply all: Responds to everyone included in the original message.
- Forward: Sends the message to someone new. You can add your own comments before sending.
To reply or forward:
- Open the conversation you want to respond to.
- Click Reply, Reply all, or Forward at the top.
- Edit your message as needed.
- Click Send when you’re ready.
Tip: Use Reply all if you want everyone on the original email to see your response.
Composing a New Email
To start a new conversation, click Compose in the sidebar. The compose window gives you several options:
- From selector: If you have access to shared mailboxes, choose which address to send from. It will show "you on behalf of {owner}" if you’re sending for someone else.
- To: Enter the recipient’s email address.
- Cc/Bcc: Click the small toggles on the To row to add Cc or Bcc fields.
- Subject: Add a subject line for your message.
Formatting and Attachments
The formatting toolbar lets you:
Make text bold, italic, or
- underline
- strikethrough
Change text color (12 options) or highlight (6 options)
Add bulleted or numbered lists
Insert links, inline images, or attach files
To attach files:
- Click the attachment icon in the toolbar.
- Select files from your computer (up to 25 MB total per message).
Warning: If your attachments go over 25 MB, you’ll need to remove files before sending.
Drafts and Auto-Save
Orivio auto-saves your draft every 3 seconds as you type. If you close the compose window with the ✕ button, your draft stays in the Drafts folder. Click Discard if you want to delete the draft completely.
Sending Your Message
When you’re ready to send:
- Review your message.
- Use the Send as… dropdown (next to Send) to pick which connected mailbox to send from.
- Click Send.
Using AI Compose
If you want help improving your draft, write your message first. Then click the AI compose button (sparkles icon). Ori will rewrite or enhance your text in place. Ori needs something to work with, so make sure you’ve written a rough draft before using this feature.
Tip: Ori can help make your replies clearer and more professional, but always review the changes before sending.
